18th Sept 2010	Filming the show Wedlock of the Gods at the Cochrane Theatre written by Nigeria's first female playwright Zulu Sofola. The play was part of a larger event launching the Virgo Foundation to promote African culture. The event was attended by VIPs and dignitaries and was a sellout success. 17th Dec 2009	Alec's 1986 BBC children's television series The Children of Green Knowe is screened at the BFI followed by a Q&A with Alec.
